Experiment

The Day I Stopped Thinking

An audio note on passive abundance, the temptation to keep planning, and finally beginning.

On Starting

A year ago, I bought the KULA domain. Since then, I’ve mostly been building it in my head. I’ve developed frameworks, collected ideas, and tried to make it clearer. But I haven’t really started. This morning, a small conversation with my neighbour made me realise why.

We were talking about health and my recent ketogenic experiment. The conversation moved to someone who had been trying to solve a long-running health issue, and my first instinct was to offer advice. Then I caught myself. I did not know enough about his situation, what he had tried, or what he wanted. What if I did not give him advice? What if I simply had a conversation?

That is the starting point for KULA: not ten things people should change, but a clearer understanding of where they are, where they want to be, what is getting in the way, and perhaps one experiment worth trying.

For a year I have been thinking about this site, collecting ideas and refining frameworks without actually beginning. That is its own form of passive abundance: consuming, planning and thinking without participating.

Maybe KULA does not need a perfect website, finished framework, or big idea. Maybe it just needs to start. This is me starting.
